We use 100% grass-fed collagen peptides as our primary protein source because of their unique amino acid profile. Collagen is naturally rich in glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline, amino acids that are commonly found in structural tissues but are less abundant in many modern protein sources.
Collagen functions differently from muscle-focused proteins like whey or soy and is not considered a complete protein. We chose it intentionally to complement a protein-forward, ingredient-conscious approach rather than replace other protein types. Collagen is best understood as one part of a varied diet that includes multiple sources of protein.
JustNosh bars are verified by third-party lab testing to contain zero industrial seed oils. Our products are certified by the Seed Oil Free Alliance, an independent organization that evaluates ingredients and finished products for seed oil content.
